Job Description The Professional Services Engineer performs a wide range of duties including: Developing, configuring, and implementing software features according to design documents and enterprise standards. Overseeing the technical planning and execution of customer projects to ensure successful deployment. Engaging with customers to address technical queries, support during user acceptance testing, and managing expectations. Identifying and resolving technical dependencies and risks, collaborating with internal teams as necessary. Working with Engineering teams to develop third-party integrations and optimize deployment processes. Collaborating with Data Scientists to create and deploy Machine Learning models. Leading technical discussions, presenting updates, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders. Providing deployment progress updates to management via reporting tools and dashboards. Occasionally working on-site with clients or across different time zones as required. Qualifications Education: BS/BA Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Experience: 3-5+ years in Professional Services or Software Development roles. Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, PL/SQL, and database technologies (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.). Hands-on experience with Unix commands and shell scripting. Familiarity with Cloud technologies (AWS preferred), DevOps tools (Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes), and ETL processes. Solid understanding of Web Services, RESTful APIs, networking, and web technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills, capable of analyzing large datasets and troubleshooting issues. Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to translate complex technical details for various audiences. Ability to work independently, adapt to changing needs, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience in Data Science and Machine Learning. Knowledge of financial systems, banking technologies (ACH, Wire, Online banking platforms such as Jack Henry, Fiserv, FIS), and fraud/risk compliance solutions.
