What You’ll Do in This Role Be part of our client’s team as a Loan Officer Assistant , where you’ll support mortgage professionals by managing contract-to-close activities, prepping documents, tracking loans, and ensuring smooth communication between clients, officers, and processors. Your Day-to-Day Impact and Responsibilities Contract-to-Close Support Receive new purchase contracts and initiate the loan setup process Prepare loan applications and disclosures using Encompass Review and complete required information and documentation Run AUS and generate borrower disclosures Upload signed disclosures and upfront documents to the file manager Track and complete milestone logs (e.g., Qualification Log) Coordinate contract details with loan processors after submission Pre-Approval & Documentation Gather and verify borrower documents Prepare and support pre-approval processes Communicate with loan officers on document needs and file status Client and Internal Coordination Provide administrative support for 4 full-time and 2 part-time Loan Officers Liaise with title companies and other stakeholders when needed Ensure accuracy of information for loan programs, borrower intent, and lead sources Balance Closing Disclosure (CD) with title companies Assist with VOE and DPA forms Requirements What It Takes to Stand Out Required Qualifications 3 to 5 years of experience in the mortgage industry Experience as a Loan Officer Assistant in the U.S. mortgage space Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive mindset Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience working with U.S.-based mortgage or financial institutions Nice to Have Familiarity with Encompass (preferred but not required) Experience in sales-side administration or similar support functions Highly detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to anticipate needs Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative, and remote work environment Willing to grow and take on additional client-facing responsibilities over time Benefits Exciting Perks Await 5 days work week Weekends off Work from home arrangement 20 vacation days in total Prepaid medicine Fully-customized Emapta laptop and peripherals Direct exposure to our clients Career growth opportunities Diverse and supportive work environment Prime Office Locations - Bogotá and Medellin Unlimited upskilling through Emapta Academy courses (Want to know more?
