Lugar: CO - Cali Representante de Adquisición de Talento de Goodyear: GABRIELLE RICHTMANN Primary Purpose: • The Logistics Manager reports to the Manager Supply Chain and dotted line to the Director LA logistics. • He/she oversees the efficient movement and storage of goods, ensuring that all processes are conducted smoothly, cost-effectively, and on time reaching optimal service levels and securing the AOP goals. The role involves coordinating the supply chain, managing external commerce, transportation, warehousing and distribution strategies. Main Responsibilities: External commerce: Manages the import and export process for finished goods and the import process for raw materials. Transportation coordination: Implement transportation strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective distribution. Warehouse management: Secure the optimal functioning of warehouse operations, as reception, warehousing and dispatches. Budget and cost control: Build and monitor logistics budgets, ensuring costs are kept within targets while maintaining proper service levels. Vendor and Supplier relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customs brokers, 3PL, transportation companies, carriers, and freight forwarders. Compliance and safety: Ensure compliance with legal regulations and safety standards related to transportation and storage. Team leadership: Manage a team of logistics professionals providing training, direction, and performance evaluations. Reporting and analytics: Monitor logistics metrics, analyze performance data generating reports to improve efficiency. Experience: Required: Minimum of 6 years of experience managing transportation, distribution centers, external commerce operations. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management position. Desirable: Experience working in a matrix organizational environment and multinational companies. Education & Certifications: Required: Bachelor’s degree is desirable in Industrial Engineering / business administration. Fluent in English written and oral. Postgraduate studies in Industrial engineering / logistics / Business administration. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge: Strong subject matter expertise: external commerce, warehousing and distribution. Knowledge of import, export operations and regulations. SAP, transportation module. Skills: Able to solve complex problems under time pressure. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations. Results oriented and self-driven.
