Facilities Technician Role: You will be responsible for ensuring the employees' environment feels safe and abundant to aid them in delivering the world's best customer experience. Facilities Technician Responsibilities: 1. Perform work according to standard procedure and by the building's operational schedule. 2. Make minor carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs. 3. Set up and tear down chairs, tables, and equipment for meetings or site functions. 4. Prepare rooms for use by internal and external organizations. 5. Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs. 6. Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation). 7. Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm). 8. Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations. 9. Follow all applicable safety rules and security procedures. 10. Assist in shipping and receiving supplies and materials. 11. Report any issues to the Facilities Manager and Site Facility Lead. 12. Participate in general cleaning, painting, and repair work. 13. Use hand tools and power tools in making minor maintenance repairs and maintaining grounds and walks. 14. Provide assistance to officials, staff, visitors, and other employees as necessary. 15. Check building at the beginning and end of shifts, ensuring things are clean/tidy and addressing any issues. 16. Work on inventories for office and cleaning supplies. 17. Create monthly, daily, and annual reports on pending supply requisitions and costing. 18. Monitor and maintain office housekeeping. 19. Practice efficiency, especially in lodging and monitoring of purchase requisitions, and handling purchase orders. 20. Perform regular inspections of furniture and fixtures, bulbs and lighting, electrical outlets, and restroom fixtures to ascertain that these are in good working condition. 21. Receive and account for the completeness of all incoming deliveries of office equipment, furniture and fixtures, and other fixed assets. 22. Knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in the handyman industry. 23. Inventory and stock management ensuring the office is up to standards with daily walkthroughs. 24. Have basic construction skills and expertise in home repair, maintenance, and renovations. 25. Organizing and managing equipment required to complete daily tasks. 26. Working with clients to provide exceptional customer service. 27. Ability to learn and operate computer programs and systems. 28. Able to do physical labor work including bending, lifting (50 lbs), and handling tools. 29. Driver's license is required. 30. You are able to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation. 31. Flexibility: you'll be switching gears, shifting priorities, and balancing task lists with calls for maintenance. Qualifications and Requirements: Required Skills: 1. 1+ year(s) previous experience in maintenance supervision or related field. 2. Positive attitude and a problem-solver. 3. Computer skills; may include scheduling with Google Suite or similar software. 4. Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices. 5. Accurate and precise attention to detail. 6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 7. Ability to physically climb ladders, stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 15 to 50 pounds. 8. Ability to work occasionally in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow. 9. Ability to work overnight/non-traditional hours, on an
