Position Overview We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Proofreading and Data Entry Specialist to support our dynamic, fast-growing team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for editing agency pitches and managing data related to agency profiles. You will help ensure that our platform maintains high-quality content and accurate data, contributing to the smooth operation of Breef’s agency ecosystem. Key Responsibilities • Pitch Editing: Review and edit agency pitches submitted through the Breef platform, ensuring proper formatting, spelling, punctuation, and adherence to Breef’s editorial guidelines. • Agency Data Management: Vet and tag agencies who apply to Breef, ensuring their profiles are complete, accurate, and appropriately categorized for project matching. • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance as needed, supporting our agency team in day-to-day operations. • Data Integrity: Input data from various sources into the platform, focusing on speed, accuracy, and maintaining data integrity. • Content Review: Carefully examine content for clarity, consistency, and alignment with editorial standards, suggesting revisions to enhance overall presentation. Key Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree or near completion preferred. • Experience: Minimum of 1+ years in customer service or a similar data-entry or proofreading role. • Technical Skills: Familiarity with workplace tools such as Google Suite, calendar booking systems, and email workflow tools. • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision and consistency, with an ability to catch even the smallest errors. • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely. • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the marketing landscape and how brands and marketers collaborate with agencies. Additional Qualifications (Preferred) • Experience with databases and tech tasks. • Familiarity with editing and content management systems is a plus.
