Role: The Compliance AML Senior Analyst is responsible for overseeing the ongoing monitoring and testing of the firm's AML, Sanctions and Anti-Bribery and Corruption risks. This involves working closely with the Compliance Independent Assessment team to identify potential violations of Laws, Rules and Regulations or breaches of Policies. Key Job Responsibilities: - Perform targeted monitoring activities to assess the design and effectiveness of key controls. - Participate in compliance independent monitoring reviews and compliance issue validation activities. - Escalate control issues and report any violations of applicable laws, rules, regulations or policies. - Determine the root cause of issues and validate remediation actions. - Drive quality, reliability and usability of all work products. - Innovate and generate new ideas to improve methods of obtaining and evaluating data. - Question and validate assumptions and status quo. - Document solutions and present results to non-technical audiences. Qualifications: - A comprehensive understanding of the regulatory environment surrounding AML, Sanctions and Anti-Bribery and Corruption. - Experience in AML, Transaction Monitoring, alert clearing and investigations. - Ability to interpret regulations and identify opportunities for enhancement within current procedures. - Critical thinking and maturity are essential for self-managing workload and responsibilities. - Strong communicative skills and ability to articulate complex problems and solutions. - Collaborative working style and ability to navigate complex organizations. - Fluent English language skills with excellent oral communication and writing skills.
