About the Role We are seeking a Fund Accounting Assistant to join our team in Mexico City and contribute to our growth. Key Responsibilities - Assist Senior Fund Accountants with administrative and operational tasks. - Ensure all client deliverables are prepared accurately and with high quality. - Reconcile portfolio and cash activity with source data. - Accrue fund expenses timely and in accordance with GAAP. - Process end-to-end fund accounting, including booking transactions, position and cash reconciliations, month-end valuations, corporate action processing, and production of monthly financial statements and investor reports. - Oversee audit and tax relationships, ensuring year-end audits and tax returns are completed. Required Skills and Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. - Intermediate English proficiency (B1). - A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar accounting role. - Prior fund accounting or administration experience is preferred but not required. - Client accounting experience is also preferred. - Strong communication and time management skills.
