Position Overview The Category Management & Shopper Marketing Specialist is responsible for: Developing, managing, and controlling shopper marketing initiatives across Latam through insights to create and execute marketing stimuli along the path to purchase that engages the shopper, builds brand equity, and drives incremental sales for the categories and our products in each channel and cluster. Driving initiatives to develop the Wet Shave, Suncare, and Feminine Care categories within our main retailers across LatAm. Universal Accountabilities Develop & monitor execution of Shopper marketing strategies (Toolkits) across countries, which are aligned with brand priorities, strategies, channels & customer objectives. Direct and manage Shopper agencies. Develop shopper research to identify actionable insights per market. Develop shopper platforms and visibility guidelines along the path to purchase (by retail environments). Generate insight into how shoppers in LATAM make purchasing decisions, including different influences, purchasing power, needs, preferences, driving sales, loyalty, and brand awareness. Guide, support, and guarantee in-store brand execution with the local teams (planograms / displays/locations/ visibility actions/portfolio/guidelines/ Do’s and Don’ts per brand). Work cross-functionally with the marketing team to execute strategies in support of brand objectives. Promote, develop, guide, and monitor execution of Category Management Plans/Programs across Customers/Region. Develop and execute category strategies based on market data, consumer behavior, and retailer needs. Lead and develop Category Visions & Retail’s Category Plans. Conduct portfolio assessments and optimizations to identify the perfect mix balancing sales & profitability. Create and implement shelf planograms for each assigned category, based on detailed analysis of past performance, results, and category insights. Design category communication across the path to purchase (shelve & out of shelve). Promote different actions to grow profit and growth in the customers' categories. Manage, set, and track the main KPIs to measure the success of category and shopper marketing initiatives. Use data to guide decision-making and strategy development. Required Skills and Experience Bachelor Degree required. Fluent in English (oral and written). Experience with computer programs: JDA / Spaceman, Nielsen/ Space Planning. Office and Outlook management. Experience working with Nielsen, Kantar, Dunnhumby data (quantitative analysis and main insights). Ability to lead a team and take measures towards improvement (Team Leadership). Minimum 3 - 5 years in consumer product goods Category Management, Marketing, or Trade Marketing. At least 2 years of experience in Shopper marketing/ Category Management. Clear Communication: Ability to clearly present insights, strategies, and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders. Influence and Negotiation: Persuasiveness when dealing with internal and external stakeholders, particularly when securing buy-in for initiatives. Critical/Strategic Thinking. Time Management and Prioritization: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail when executing campaigns or analyzing data. Preferred Skills and Experience Multi mass PC Segments (Skin Care; Shampoo; Deodorants; Feminine Care; Sun Care; R&B’s) business experience is a PLUS. Preferable with experience and knowledge of “in market” operative roles to develop higher sensitiveness to regional strategies / plans very well connected to market’s / business realities. Category Management experience. Working Relationships Reports to LatAm eCommerce, Catman y Shopper Marketing Manager. Internal key relationships will include Area Marketing brand management, Consumer Insights & Research, and local Trade Marketing, sales, and Finance teams. Strong partnership with Clusters Customer Marketing Heads to help in the development of combined brand and customer plans to foster business growth. External key relationships will involve providing direction to shopper marketing agencies, displays agencies/manufacturers, promotion agencies, shopper insight agencies, pricing consultants, and category management agencies.
