We are seeking a skilled Senior Android Developer to join our dynamic team. Job Description: As a Senior Android Developer, you will be responsible for helping to install technical capabilities in your team, implementing and maintaining well-structured code that is reusable and presents high performance. You will also actively collaborate on the technical backlog detailing and participate in technical decisions with Cit Software SA and a big international client to continuously improve the product being delivered. Key Responsibilities: - Implement and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin. - Develop and integrate advanced features using Android Architecture Components and Jetpack libraries. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions. - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high standards of quality and security. - Work with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) to deliver products efficiently. Requirements: - Previous experience as an Android Developer or in a similar role. - Strong experience with SCM process and version control tools like Git. - Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban). - Knowledge in software architectural patterns like MVVM, MVP, MVC, Clean Architecture, SOLID, Coordinators, and dependency injection frameworks like Koin. - Solid experience working with Kotlin. - Experience with advanced Android Architecture Components and Jetpack libraries, including Room Persistence Library. - Proficiency in using Kotlin Coroutines and Flow for asynchronous programming and reactive patterns. - Experience with unit testing libraries such as MockK, JUnit, Espresso, MockWebServer, and Robolectric. - Experience working with REST API integrations using Retrofit. - Experience with Bluetooth technologies, including integration with Android applications for data communication and device connectivity, and knowledge of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) profiles and protocols for IoT and wearable device integration. - Experience with build automation tools such as Gradle. - Experience with Firebase integration (e.g., Crashlytics, Analytics, Messaging). - Experience with Android Lifecycle Aware components. - Experience with Android Notifications. - Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for Android projects using tools like Jenkins and SonarQube/Detekt. - Good communication skills, with clients and internally with your team. - Ability to communicate complex ideas by speaking or writing in English. You Will Stand Out If You Have: - Knowledge of charting libraries for Android, such as MP Android Chart. - Experience with performance optimization tools like LeakCanary and Android Profiler. - Knowledge of accessibility, localization, animation. - Experience with Wear OS development, including creating custom tiles, complications, and overlays.
