Job Description To provide exceptional customer service and establish strong relationships with clients and associates, enabling the successful implementation of Goodwill's mission services. Main Responsibilities: 1. Greet and assist customers and donors, promoting a positive and mutually beneficial associate/customer relationship. 2. Bag merchandise, answer phone calls with the correct Goodwill greeting, and handle store returns accurately. 3. Receive, stock, tag, count, and inventory merchandise, ensuring it is safe and not on the Consumer Product Safety Recall list. 4. Assist in loading and unloading trucks from the distribution center, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow. 5. Stock and merchandise textiles, electronics, furniture, housewares, exercise equipment, mechanical devices, and other hard goods, adhering to quality and safety standards. 6. Perform general housekeeping, custodial, and janitorial duties as scheduled and assigned. 7. Complete all other tasks as directed by management. Requirements: - Functional reading, writing, and mathematical skills. - Daily physical demands may include climbing, balancing, reaching, talking, hearing, seeing, standing, stooping, kneeling, handling, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. - May be exposed to dust and odors, with limited outdoor work possible. - Familiarity with safety, security, and money handling procedures, as outlined in Goodwill policy. - A commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and ethical work environment. Work Details: - As assigned by store location, which may include nights and weekends. - Present a fashionable, neat, and clean appearance, reflecting Goodwill's positive image in the community.
