Key Responsibilities: As a Data Analyst Intern for the Global Data Operations (GDO) - Capacity and Operational Metrics (COM) team, you will: Help mature our team's data strategy by supporting organized data collection, processing, and predictive analytics to estimate and forecast demands. Generate data insights to drive business value and help make informed decisions for our department, ensuring efficient resource use. Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical models and actionable insights. Develop, maintain, and improve data pipelines and databases for accurate data collection, storage, and retrieval. Utilize statistical methods and machine learning models to analyze data and generate forecasts. Create visualizations and reports that effectively communicate data insights to different audiences. Specific Actions to Execute: During your role, you will receive training that will provide you with essential knowledge about our operations, roles, and processes, which are crucial for your data analysis responsibilities. Experience being a team member and participate in all phases of data strategy development. Apply different skills, including data analysis, statistical modeling, critical thinking, project planning, and execution. Learn about the pharmaceutical industry, clinical studies, and process improvement to tailor your analyses to industry-specific needs. Daily Activities: In the first month, you will undergo thorough training on our processes and operations, including sessions with trainers, videos, and reading materials. In the subsequent months, your day will be split between supporting our GDO Capacity and Operational Metrics (COM) team with data-related activities (25%) and improving or developing predictive analytics models and data processes (75%). Learning Opportunities: This role offers valuable experience in: Developing and implementing data strategy. Using and gaining proficiency in data analysis tools: Python, PowerBI, etc. Optimizing and improving data collection and processing methods. Developing critical and analytical thinking skills. Requirements: Highly motivated and eager to learn and grow in the field of data analysis. Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields. Knowledge of programming and data analysis tools (Python preferred). Technical experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, with advanced proficiency in English.
