Job Title: Oracle Engagement Cloud / OEC Consultant Reports to: President Work Location/Travel: Remote within Colombia or on-site at client locations. Occasional travel (up to 20%) may be required for client engagements. Job Summary We’re seeking driven and passionate Oracle Engagement Cloud Consultant with Redwood (NGS) user experience to join our growing team in Colombia. You’ll collaborate with global experts on cutting-edge projects, deliver tailored solutions for clients, and play a key role in establishing Apex IT’s footprint in LatAm. This role offers a unique blend of remote/hybrid work, professional development, and opportunities to innovate. Duties/Responsibilities Design applications using Redwood UI , modify Redwood pages, and ensure a seamless user experience. Configure and implement Oracle Engagement Cloud based on designs provided by the Team Leader . Take responsibility for development tasks from definition to delivery , ensuring high-quality outcomes. Apply strong design, development, and troubleshooting skills , including Groovy scripting for automation and enhancements. Stay updated on Oracle technologies , industry trends, and pursue certifications to enhance expertise. Work directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored strategic solutions . Contribute to internal initiatives and help establish a strong Apex IT presence in Colombia . Share expertise with team members and clients, fostering continuous learning and innovation . Collaborate with developers, architects, and functional leads to ensure alignment with project goals. Perform other duties as assigned, supporting broader business and technology initiatives . Competency 4+ years of experience implementing Oracle Engagement Cloud / Oracle Sales Cloud CRM systems. Strong experience with Web, Outlook, and Mobile UIs , with some exposure to Redwood UI , including responsive UI and Visual Builder . Expertise in Sales Planning & Forecasting, Engagement Cloud Service Requests, Sales Territories, Fusion CRM BI/Dashboards/KPIs, Mobile & Outlook integration, and File Import. Hands-on experience with Visual Builder for creating extensions, Action Chains, Event Listeners, JSON, and JavaScript . Certification in Oracle Redwood Development is a plus. Familiarity with Oracle CPQ, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and other Oracle Cloud solutions is an advantage. Strong programming skills, ability to review and analyze complex code bases , and a structured approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues . Ability to understand, analyze, and solve explicit and implicit requirements while researching and addressing complex problems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish , with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly. Proactive approach to identifying opportunities , driving growth, and balancing the needs of the company, customers, and partners with integrity. Strong self-awareness, resilience, and conflict resolution skills , ensuring effective stakeholder management and relationship-building. Flexible and responsive to changing business needs, works collaboratively across teams to achieve shared goals. Deep understanding of IT procedures, industry trends, enterprise technology landscapes , and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and related business software. Supervisory Responsibilities Provide training and mentorship to technical staff to support their professional growth. Participate in the recruitment process, including conducting interviews to assess candidates’ qualification. Assign tasks, set clear expectations, and manage the workflow of project team members to ensure efficiency and quality. Conduct performance evaluations, delivering timely and constructive feedback to enhance team performance and development. Work Environment The role may be performed remotely or on-site at a client location, depending on project requirements. For remote work, employees are expected to maintain a professional and distraction-free workspace, including appropriate virtual backgrounds if needed. A reliable and high-speed internet connection is essential to ensure smooth communication and productivity. Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Information Science - related field or commensurate experience required. At least 4 years of related experience required.
