Our Founders: Tushar Khandelwal Jann Wong Viren Shetty The Role As TourHero grows, so does our team — especially in Bogotá, our fastest-growing office. We’re looking for a People Operations Manager who will be the heartbeat of the employee experience in Colombia. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you’ll wear many hats: from office and onboarding management to employee relations, compliance, and project support. You’ll be the go-to person for our Bogotá team, working closely with our global People & Talent function to ensure a smooth, people-first operation as we scale. What You’ll Be Doing Office Management Act as the People point of contact for our Bogotá office and local employees Manage office supplies, equipment, and desk setups Coordinate with building management and external vendors Support with organising office events (e.g. birthdays, socials, team gatherings) Employee Relations & Engagement Be the first point of contact for employee feedback, concerns, and issues Support managers with employee-related matters, including ER cases Maintain accurate and confidential ER documentation Provide coaching and support to employees as needed Help design and run employee engagement and pulse surveys Partner with managers to roll out culture and engagement initiatives Monitor and flag retention risks HR Systems & Tools Help set up and manage HR tools (e.g. HRIS, ATS, internal trackers) Maintain clean and accurate employee records and documentation Support with evaluating and rolling out new HR systems as the company grows People Policies & Compliance Assist in implementing and maintaining local HR policies Help manage and update the employee handbook Stay up to date with Colombian labor laws and track relevant changes Oversee and track employee sick leave, time off, and vacation requests Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies Support with contract creation and review for Colombian employees Pre-Onboarding & Onboarding Coordinate with managers on pre-onboarding tasks (accounts, equipment, documentation) Send welcome emails and pre-boarding instructions Run the full onboarding process for Bogotá-based employees Help develop and improve onboarding practices for different teams Support manager onboarding training and documentation Recruitment Support Support the Talent team with interview coordination, candidate communication, and scheduling (when needed) Help ensure a great candidate experience locally Payroll Support Liaise with the finance team on payroll-related questions and processes Track and manage relevant employee data for accurate payroll execution Founder Support & Project Work Support the founder and leadership team with People-related projects as needed (e.g. office moves, local initiatives, policy rollouts) The Ideal Profile You have 5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Generalist, or Office/People Management roles You’re confident managing employee relations and providing day-to-day support to managers You’re familiar with Colombian labor laws and compliance requirements You’ve run onboarding processes before and know how to make new hires feel welcomed and supported You’re organised, proactive, and not afraid to take ownership — if something needs doing, you do it You’re a great communicator, both in Spanish and English You enjoy working in-office with a team, but you’re also self-sufficient and can manage your time well You thrive in a startup environment where things move fast and no two days are the same You genuinely care about people and want to create a great employee experience Benefits: 40 Days of Annual Leave – Includes bank holidays, giving you the flexibility to use them when it suits you.
