Job summary As a Pump Sales Engineer Specialist, you are responsible for driving increased organic growth and expanding Flowserve's market share in key growth markets, select customers, and specific product lines where Flowserve has an insufficient presence. Responsibilities - Serve as a key resource for the sales organization and Flowserve customers in support of the products, services, and markets identified within the sales specialist organization's focus areas. - Continuously develop your individual competencies to expand your ability to provide expert technical, commercial, and application guidance. - Lead and execute sales strategies and provide actionable support to the sales organization with the goal of generating annual growth in MRO bookings. - Sales calls to customers, both direct and joint. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and at least 7 years of relevant experience. - Experience in the oil and gas, energy, paper, and chemical industries - Proven skills in leading meetings, including setting agendas, preparing, facilitating discussions, and assigning follow-up activities. Skills - Ability to lead root cause analysis of failures and communicate results. - Proficiency in technology such as Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Ability to work independently, efficiently, and communicate productively with others.
