What will I be doing? As Sales Manager, you will: Analyse local market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business into the hotel/cluster and increase market share across revenue streams Negotiate room rates and packages with corporate clients Develop and implement creative local marketing channels, including social media Prepare company contracts in line with current business and pricing conditions Work within current business strategies and recognize potential opportunities Collaborate with other hotel departments to create an exceptional guest experience and build strong sales programs Attend sales events as required Produce accurate, timely reports for the Sales Director and senior management, including appointments, calls, and business leads Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries Manage staff performance according to company policies Recruit, train, and develop the sales team What are we looking for?
