Job Description This position will be responsible for consistently driving BU Performance collaborative with direct sales and partner Ecosystem, to achieve order and revenue goals for the Software & Control Business suite offerings in the assigned territory. The role requires a proven track record of leading and executing business strategies as well as pursuit client based C executive level engagement. This individual must demonstrate collaboration and cross functional leadership skills, as their responsibilities will also include working with sales territories, sales management, business unit domain experts, and strategic partners to Rockwell Automation. Global collaboration, project coordination, market access and strategy planning will be needed as required. **Key Responsibilities**: - Lead the execution of BU commercial strategy in assigned geography, including planning process and strategy execution excellence. - Support sales Ecosystem to Achieve Rockwell Automation SWC sales targets and support business plans in targeted accounts. - Lead by influence the distributor sales team management to engage effectively - Directly responsible for support funnel health and maturity helping sales team meeting and exceeding quota. - Work with Technical Service Engineers/Solution Architects and Proposal Solution Consultants to assure develop the Scope of Supply, Bill of Materials, and Contract Requirements for proposals. - Serve as key liaison component between customers, regional sales team members and Rockwell Automation Software & Control organization to ensure efficient and effective communications and information flow from sales and pipeline. - Provide formal regular status reports to sales management which include forecast, pipeline and activity summary information. Monitor & report revenue and pipeline results weekly via CRM tool for assigned Geographies to ensure performance goals are met. - Y\Understand products, technologies, and solutions focused on software & control portfolio to create new way to generate business opportunities and more ways to win deals and support complex sales. - Collect, analyze, and communicate market data to produce growth strategies, target account planning, which includes deep understanding of competitive landscapes, trends, key wins/losses and service development needs to the BU product management teams. - Lead and develop the technology consultant team giving focus on maximize early engagement with strategic business opportunities. - Drive local product marketing activities (NPI, Value proposition and outcomes, product launch and positioning and assure team enablement program. - Peer -Peer engagement with Channel Leader and Distributor Management to align strategy, resources and business plans - Drive and lead the annual planning process to define the key strategy focus with high impact actions to achieve sales goals. - This position will provide local market insights in assigned geography and design with management team new strategies to keep on track business targets and development growth. - Work with sales leadership to identify focus segments and target accounts. - Lead the BU forecast process, reports and updates working with sales ecosystem and regional director. - Collaborate with market access organization to drive channel leadership engagement and DI management Support. - Lead, promote the aggressive use the existing commercial programs focused on convert competitors install base. - Collaborate with channel manager to get the right product inventory mix with distributors executive team. - Lead and promote engagement process for technology consultants with sales team. **Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Education**: - Bachelor’s degree required. Preferably in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science. - Strong technical background related to control systems and software portfolio to maximize customer offering value. - Minimum of 8 years of proven experience as product manager/ category manager, in the Industrial Automation Technology in the segment of industrial control with both 50% technical and 50% business sales skill - Strong knowledge and experience with Partner Ecosystem Management and to consultative sales methodologies knowledge - Capable in leading and facilitating win strategy processes - Nice to have: Business/MBA/ Marketing specialization - English: 100% fluent (#LI-AG2)
