Role DescriptionThe purpose of this role is to bridge the gap between Sales,Solution, and Product teams by defining Go-To-Market strategies,developing client engagement playbooks, and creating effectiveapproaches for pitching all Harmonic solutions in Latin America. The BDR will work in collaboration with sales account managers andmust be a strong team player. In the BDR role, you will do well ifyou have experience in business development and/or outboundprospecting, if you love a challenge, working in target-drivenenvironments, and succeeding as part of a team. What you will be doing - Overlay supportfor Sales teams on advanced projects (SaaS, monetization) - Newbusiness development through proactive lead generation anduncovering and creating well-qualified new SaaS & videoappliances opportunities. - Strategic partner development to expandHarmonic’s ecosystem - Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy definition forkey markets - Understand the business and research relevant salestargets (verticals, customer segments, etc) and gather key leadinformation. - Key account coordination in collaboration with keyaccount managers to drive long-term growth - New businessdevelopment through proactive lead generation - Drive Harmonic’sgrowth through inbound & outbound, strategic & targetedprospecting efforts, generating high-value sales leads (start-ups,unicorns, enterprise businesses) that will turn into opportunitiesand closed business. - Creation of sales and marketing materials(decks, Sales tools) - Learn from our well-seasoned Sales & BDteam. Maintain and continuously update personal knowledge bystudying new product description, using trainings and internale-learning materials. What you need to succeed - Experience inSales related environment including lead generation and complexselling of B2B and SaaS solutions. - Independent business developerdemonstrating proactivity in lead generation. - Strong listeningand customer relationship skills. - Adaptable, curious, andcomfortable with a fast-paced, dynamic and customer facingenvironment. - Excellent written and verbal communicationsincluding the ability to simplify and communicate complex ideas. -Influencing skill and experienced in working with all levels ofmanagement inside and outside the company. - Active relationshipbuilder who can collaborate with internal and external teams toconsistently improve processes and communication workflows. -Fluent in Spanish and English. Portuguese is a plus. - OTT workflowknowledge experience is a strong plus. - Enthusiasm, fun andoptimism. Travel - Travel will be required to meet customers andpeers.
