Job Title: Head of Quality - Industry Business Unit Job Purpose: The Head of Quality for Industry Business Unit is responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control and assurance to ensure products and services meet or exceed customer expectations. They ensure compliance to relevant ISO standards and interact with regulatory bodies. Customer complaints are handled in a compliant and timely manner with robust root cause investigation and corrective action. Responsibilities: - Quality Management Systems: Develop and implement an effective quality management system (QMS) aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Establish processes for complaint handling, quality control, document control, corrective actions, and continuous improvement. - Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure consistent product quality. Establish inspection protocols, monitor product quality throughout production, and address non-conformities. - Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with procurement teams to establish supplier quality management processes. Conduct audits, evaluate supplier performance, and implement measures to ensure suppliers meet quality standards. - Quality Assurance: Develop strategies to prevent defects and ensure compliance with customer requirements. Define quality metrics and key performance indicators, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. - Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement. Lead initiatives to enhance quality processes, optimize efficiency, and reduce waste. - Customer Satisfaction: Monitor customer feedback to identify areas for improvement. Address customer complaints and implement corrective actions. - Change Control: Ensure efficient change control processes. - Training and Development: Provide training on quality standards and best practices. Foster a culture of quality awareness. - Compliance: Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and certifications. Ensure organization compliance and coordinate audits. - Leadership and Team Management: Provide leadership to the quality team. Foster a collaborative environment and mentor team members. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) - Proven experience in quality management roles with multi-site responsibility or global scope - In-depth knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools - In-depth knowledge of relevant quality standards and industry-specific regulations - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to lead cross-functional teams - Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement - Languages: Spanish, English - Business Fluent Equal Opportunity Employer: medmix is committed to a diverse workforce.
