Job Description What functions will you do? Write and disseminate press kits, pitches, publisher notices, and calendar listings. Advise on marketing and advertising copy and provide editing for brand consistency. Develop design and artwork in accordance with corporate standards for advertising and hotel collateral. Oversee layout and design of ads, collateral, and other projects. Propose new and creative ideas to improve overall brand standards. Study and prepare layouts, artwork sketches, and related materials. Determine the most appropriate style, techniques, and medium to produce desired effects and meet reproduction requirements. Formulate concepts and present illustrations and details from models, sketches, or memory, analyzing and making changes as necessary. Select type, draw lettering, design materials, or perform related tasks. Build positive relationships with local media and industry partners in key markets. Develop and maintain all media lists and contact information. Maintain an up-to-date photo and video library, including records of media and special events. Extend the brand's reach through marketing partnerships and non-traditional media. Develop proactive marketing and communication plans (monthly and annual) to achieve results and build awareness. Develop sponsorship opportunities and partnerships to support brand development. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in a related position. Degree in Marketing, Communication, Graphic Design, or related field. Experience managing SEO / SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns. Highly creative with experience in creating engaging digital campaigns. Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Working knowledge of ad serving tools. Experience with video and image editing software. Technical knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, AJAX, and Flash. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, Coral Draw, and Acrobat. Knowledge of printing processes and specifications for digital and print media. Up-to-date with online marketing trends and best practices.
