We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at our La Vega location in the Dominican Republic. Job Description: The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities to provide top-notch support to our team members. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting network and computer-related issues, installing and configuring hardware and software, and maintaining accurate inventory and documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot network and computer-related issues promptly and efficiently. - Install, configure, and maintain workstation hardware, software, and peripherals. - Support network and server infrastructure, including servers, switches, routers, wireless access points, and firewalls. - Schedule and perform regular equipment upgrades, including firmware, operating systems, and application updates. Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in computer/network support. - Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent. - CompTIA A+ or Net+ certification is a plus. - Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential for supporting end-users. - Able to work independently and ensure tasks are completed. - Willing to work one weekend day per week. - Occasional evening work may be required for installations and troubleshooting. - Proven analytical and creative problem-solving skills. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Meticulous attention to detail. - Able to lift up to 50 pounds of technical equipment. Technical Requirements: - Working knowledge of Windows 10/11. - Experience with Office 2019/2021 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). - Knowledge of server, computer, and office equipment hardware: installation, maintenance, repair, and upgrade. - Ability to install and terminate Cat5/Cat6 cables, network jacks, and patch panels. - Experience with enterprise networking and infrastructure management tools and services (AD, DHCP, DNS, etc.) is a plus. - Working knowledge of Google Workspace is a plus.
