What can you expect in a “Security Operations Center (SOC) Senior Analyst” role with TaskUs: The Security Operations Center (SOC) Senior Analyst is responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the SOC. This includes overseeing the monitoring, analysis, and response to security events, as well as the development and implementation of SOC policies and procedures. He/She must have a strong understanding of security threats and vulnerabilities, as well as the ability to lead and motivate a team of security analysts and associates. Key Responsibilities: ● Oversee the monitoring and analysis of security events ● Ensuring the SOC team respond to security alerts and incidents in a timely and efficient manner ● Develop, enhance and implement SOC policies and procedures ● Ensuring the monthly metric and SLAs of SOC are met at all times ● Train and mentor security analysts and associates ● Work with other IT teams to ensure the security of the TaskUs’ systems and data ● Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends Required Qualifications: ● 3+ years of experience in a security operations center or similar role ● Strong understanding of security threats and vulnerabilities ● Experience with security monitoring and analysis tools ● Experience with security incident response ● Experience with security alert investigations ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ● Strong leadership and team-building skills Education / Certifications: ● Bachelor's degree in IT or related fields (preferred, not required) ● Information Security related certifications is a plus Work Location / Work Schedule / Travel: How We Partner To Protect You: TaskUs will neither solicit money from you during your application process nor require any form of payment in order to proceed with your application.
