Job Summary To provide exceptional customer service to shoppers and donors, fostering a positive associate/customer relationship that enhances the profitability of Goodwill Industries. Key Responsibilities 1. Greet and assist customers and donors upon entering the store. 2. Bag merchandise, answer phone calls with the correct Goodwill greeting, and handle store returns accurately. 3. Receive, stock, tag, count, and inventory merchandise. 4. Assist in loading and unloading trucks from the distribution center. 5. Stock, merchandise, and display textiles, electronics, furniture, housewares, exercise equipment, mechanical devices, and other hard goods safely. 6. Perform general housekeeping, custodial, and janitorial duties as scheduled and assigned. 7. Complete all other tasks assigned by management. Requirements Functional reading, writing, and mathematical skills. Physical Demands Daily responsibilities may include climbing, balancing, reaching, talking, hearing, seeing, standing, stooping, kneeling, handling, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. May be exposed to dust and odors. Limited outdoor work may be required. Safety & Security Follow all safety, security, and money handling procedures as directed by Goodwill policy.
