Hiring Department The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Job Description The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology is seeking an experienced, reliable, and task-oriented Senior Assistant Office Support (Sr. OSA). This position will work directly with the Division Coordinator, providing essential administrative support in a dynamic environment. Main Responsibilities: Enhance the Division Director's effectiveness by managing information and representing the Director to others. Coordinate the Director's communications, including handling calls, responding to emails, and interfacing with faculty, fellows, staff, and other divisions and departments. Produce and manage various documents by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics. Save the Director's time by reviewing, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; and initiating telecommunications. Maintain the Director's appointment calendar, planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel arrangements. Welcome guests and customers by greeting them in person or on the phone; answer or direct inquiries as needed. Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing relevant information. Maintain a high level of professionalism and proficiency in written and verbal communication. Uphold strict confidentiality in all matters. Collaborate closely with the Division Administrator and the GI Administrative team to address divisional needs as they arise. Shift Type: Mon - Fri 8:00AM - 5:00 PM Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
