Key Responsibilities: - Core Financial Operations: - Accounts Receivable Management: Oversee invoice generation, payment collection, and follow-up processes to ensure optimal cash flow - Financial Process Oversight: Manage and optimize automated financial workflows, ensuring all processes run smoothly - Billing Operations: Ensure accurate and timely billing processes, maintaining spotless invoicing procedures across all business entities - Expense Management: Properly categorize and track business expenses, maintaining organized financial records - Financial Reporting: Build comprehensive reports on revenue streams, cost analysis, and key financial metrics for leadership decision-making - Weekly Operations: - Transaction Review: Review and categorize all financial transactions weekly - Financial Reporting: Generate weekly categorized financial reports - Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and resolve categorization issues - Chart of Accounts Management: - System Maintenance: Maintain and update company chart of accounts - Coding Standards: Establish coding standards for all general ledger accounts - Staff Training: Train staff on proper account coding procedures - Approval Process: Approve new account codes and categorization requests Requirements: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field - Experience: 3-5 years of finance or accounting experience with focus on accounts receivable and process management - Specialized Knowledge: Experience with chart of accounts design and financial categorization systems - Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in financial systems, advanced Excel skills, and experience with automated processes - Quality Focus: Strong attention to detail for accurate coding and categorization - Process Management: Proven ability to manage and improve financial workflows and billing operations - Communication: Excellent English proficiency for stakeholder interaction and reporting Preferred Qualifications: - Industry Experience: E-commerce or high-growth company background - Technology Skills: Experience with Airtable, automation tools, and financial management systems - Operations Experience: Background in remote finance roles
