Our strength lies in our global team of 95+ consultants, all working remotely, embodying a collaborative, inclusive, and innovation-driven work culture.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Power BI Administrator to manage and maintain the Power BI environment of one of our customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, stability, security, and scalability of the Power BI platform. This role involves installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and user support, while also ensuring compliance with industry’s best practices.Key Responsibilities:Administer and maintain Power BI Service, Power BI Report Server, and related environmentsPerform installation, configuration, and upgrades of Power BI componentsMonitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize dashboards and reports for efficiencyManage Power BI workspaces, user roles, permissions, and authentication settingsImplement and enforce best practices for report development, scheduling, and executionProvide technical support to end users, ensuring seamless report executionCollaborate with IT teams to integrate Power BI with enterprise systems such as databases, cloud services, and data warehousesPerform regular system health checks, backups, and disaster recovery planningMaintain and enhance security policies, ensuring compliance with organizational standardsDocument configurations, processes, troubleshooting procedures, and best practicesAttend to customer requests and provide timely responses and solutions within the defined Service Level Agreement (SLA)Be available after hours and on weekends to perform upgrades and maintenance tasks without affecting business usersRequired Skills & Qualifications:Advanced English skillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field3+ years of hands-on experience as a Power BI Administrator or a similar roleStrong expertise in Power BI Service administration, including installation, upgrades, and maintenanceExperience with Power BI Desktop and report optimizationProficiency in managing Power BI workspaces, scheduling, and user access controlSolid understanding of database systems (SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, etc.) and data integrationExperience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or SQL for automation and optimizationFamiliarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and integrating Power BI with cloud-based data sourcesStrong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issuesExcellent English and Spanish communication and collaboration skills to support end-users and work with cross-functional teamsPreferred Qualifications:Power BI Certification (PL-300 or equivalent)Experience with ITIL-based service management frameworksFamiliarity with API integration and Power BI connectorsExperience administering other enterprise analytic tools such as AlteryxExperience with Snowflake administration #J-18808-Ljbffr
