Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Implementation Project Coordinator to manage low-to-mid complexity projects and take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. This role involves gathering and documenting project requirements while providing client consultative guidance on regulatory compliance, features, and functionality. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning and Execution: Provide project management planning, execution, closing, and support for assigned clients and markets to ensure client expectations are exceeded. Problems faced are expected to be difficult and mildly complex. 2. Milestone Management: Meet all milestones and deliverables in a timely manner, complying with internal artifacts and ensuring customer expectations are met and exceeded. 3. Client Coordination: Coordinate directly with clients to analyze card program setup requirements to implement Visa endpoints, products, and services to support the business and formulate implementation solutions. 4. Reporting and Communication: Report client project accomplishments and deliverables to management on a weekly or monthly basis. 5. Complex Request Management: Confidently manage non-routine, complex processing requests as well as short-term tactical and strategic customer initiatives. 6. Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement to improve team efficiencies and project delivery to clients. 7. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Build and enhance positive working relationships with key client institutions, processors, and internal stakeholders. 8. Global Workgroup Management: Build a cohesive global workgroup and involve those global workgroups in communications and decision-making. 9. Project Artifacts: Prepare and maintain detailed project artifacts, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, issues logs in support of client projects and/or initiatives. Apply processes and approaches to be in line with client requirements. 10. Stakeholder Representation: Represent client system and operational requirements to internal organizations. Create good functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders by being able to speak confidently and having a professional demeanor. 11. Accountability and Decision-Making: Be accountable for delivering agreed objectives. Be responsible for own workflow assignments and must be able to take the initiative to resolve problems and ensure delivery on commitments. 12. Resource Coordination: Coordinate technical resources, planning, and monitoring of certification testing, and to secure resources required to complete projects. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Requires a minimum of 2+ years of Information Technology system knowledge with moderate understanding of project management, technology, and applications. - We are looking for an individual who brings breadth of experience, a curiosity about payments, is results-driven and client-focused. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience in a business analyst role in software or financial services. - Experience using standard MS Office tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.). - Excellent time management, organization, planning skills, and teamwork are essential. - Able to set priorities, influence others, and manage customer expectations. - Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and strong interpersonal skills are required. - Candidate is required to interact with internal stakeholders in US/India/Singapore, hence the ability to speak/write English fluently is a must. Portuguese is a plus. - Project management of retail banking, card schemes, or new technologies that are applicable to the payment industry. - Comfort with public speaking and the ability to relay information clearly and confidently. - Good working knowledge of Visa's payment processing systems including message routing, authorization, clearing & settlement, and client connectivity is a plus.
