About the Role - We are searching for a Business Development Representative to support client acquisition within the US Life Science recruitment market. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a go-getter attitude and a hunter sales mentality. This person should have experience in business development activities and should be well-versed in cold outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, etc. They should also work well under pressure and demonstrate consistency in achieving and surpassing results through daily/weekly/monthly KPIs set by the leadership team. Responsibilities Collaborate with leadership to set short-term and long-term business development strategy Work closely with the Operations team and leadership to develop a lead generation strategy to build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities Review and approve leads lists and collaborate with the Operations team to adjust or refine the lead generation strategy Conduct outreach via cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn networking, video messaging, etc. Educate prospective clients on our headhunting services, value proposition, and track record of success Build relationships with decision-makers and maintain regular communication in order to position our firm as their go-to headhunting agency partner Follow up with prospects to provide relevant materials including company brochures, client testimonials, relevant CVs, marketing content, etc. Qualify prospects during initial discovery call to establish a fit with company needs and our services Close appointment meetings between prospects and leadership team for discussions on potential business partnerships Qualifications Required Skills 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition Experience in or knowledge of the recruitment industry is strongly preferred Proven ability to build relationships with senior executives, HR leaders, and hiring managers Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently Proficiency in CRM tools and sales automation platforms WHY JOIN US?
