GiftBasketsOverseas.com is looking for a Business Development Specialist who will be responsible for generation and development of qualified sales opportunities within the corporate gifting market by prospecting, qualifying and nurturing leads into customers. The role aims to contribute directly to revenue growth, client satisfaction and the company’s reputation as a trusted corporate gifting partner. Also, supporting the team during the high season to ensure the successful delivery of corporate gifting campaigns. Format: 100% remote full-time. Responsibilities and tasks: Conduct outbound lead prospecting, initiating conversations and nurturing interest in corporate gifting solutions; Develop a deep understanding of the target audience, their industry, and their gifting needs to tailor messaging and solutions effectively; Qualify leads and prospects to ensure alignment with target customer profile, accurately track and manage all activities, leads, and opportunities in the CRM (HubSpot); Drive and own the outreach strategy, including experimenting with messaging, channels, and tactics to optimize conversion rates; Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback, using these insights to adjust sales tactics and value propositions; Meet or exceed assigned KPIs and performance targets related to lead generation, conversion and pipeline development; Provide regular reports, feedback, and insights to management regarding sales pipeline status, customer needs, challenges, and emerging market opportunities; Proactively seek and incorporate feedback, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth; Contribute positively to the corporate team culture by collaborating, sharing knowledge, and supporting the team's ongoing development and success; During the high season, fill in roles as the team requires (from sales rep to sales assistant), supporting core sales or customer success activities as needed. Required Qualifications: Possess 6+ month experience in business development and lead generation, Have a well-established Linkedin account; Have excellent communication skills and be able to create warm interpersonal connections with clients and colleagues; Like helping people to solve their problems and provide personal support throughout the process; Be goal-oriented; Be self-organized, responsible and able to own projects (tasks) without being micromanaged; Have schedule flexibility and time management skills; Be a team player; Ability to bounce back from setback and adjust to changing strategies and priorities. Preferred Qualifications: A second foreign language such as Portuguese, French, German is a strong plus; Possess sales experience; Be out of the box thinker; Be proactive; Be a self starter and enjoy overcoming challenges; Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure; Have (technical) knowledge of gmail, Google drive and docs.
