Regulatory Affairs Specialist Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Specialist to ensure that our products meet regulatory requirements and comply with applicable laws and regulations. About the Job This role is responsible for ensuring that products are manufactured and distributed in compliance with legislation, supporting the business to establish and implement regulatory strategies. This includes executing regulatory strategies to enable product launch according to business needs, providing advice on regulations to other functions within the company, preparing and submitting product registration, renewals and notifications, and ensuring regulatory compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS) in all projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for guaranteeing that our products meet local labeling requirements, reviewing and approving artwork and advertising materials to guarantee local compliance, finding solutions to meet product launch timelines through regulatory means, maintaining organized local product files and controls, establishing deadlines and tracking regulatory submissions/approvals, monitoring official gazettes and regulators websites for regulation trends and changes, updating knowledge on regulatory trends and local legislation, sharing this information with relevant functions and developing strategies to address them, thereby achieving Regulatory and competitive advantage. Your Responsibilities - Execute regulatory strategies to enable product launch according to business needs. - Provide advice on regulations to other functions within the company. - Prepare and submit product registration, renewals, and notifications to ensure product compliance with local regulations throughout its lifecycle for assigned products/brands/categories. - Ensure regulatory compliance with QMS in all projects. - Guarantee that our products meet local labeling requirements. - Review and approve artwork and advertising materials to guarantee local compliance. - Find solutions to meet product launch timelines through regulatory means. - Maintain organized local product files and controls. - Establish deadlines and track regulatory submissions/approvals. - Monitor official gazettes and regulators websites for regulation trends and changes. - Update knowledge on regulatory trends and local legislation, sharing this information with relevant functions and developing strategies to address them, thereby achieving Regulatory and competitive advantage. - Track regulator registration requests and find solutions to avoid future requests, consequently reducing registration time. - Request transportation sheets before the regulator in Costa Rica, following local regulations and meeting company needs. - Complete internal trainings to address corporate and regulatory needs. - Support the business in maintaining an up-to-date portfolio, aligned with business requirements and local regulations, including IDBs, MB, CC, Risk Assessment, etc. The Qualifications We Are Looking For -University Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other scientific sciences. -4 years of experience in similar positions. -Knowledge of chemistry and hygiene registration laws.
