Responsibilities include patient care in the PICU, involvement in a thriving sedation service, and teaching residents and medical students. Clinical research activity is encouraged. The Director will lead the division's clinical, research, and educational services, fostering growth and expansion. The PICU is a 13-bed unit with various pediatric specialties, including general surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic, and plastic surgery. It has approximately 1000 admissions per year. The team comprises residents, nurse practitioners, respiratory therapists, social workers, and dietitians. A dedicated pediatric transport team provides mobile intensive care services to the region. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: MD / DO, Board-certified Pediatrician, BC/BE Pediatric Critical Care.
