At Roca Alliances, we are currently looking for an Oracle HCM Product Owner role for one of our clients in the tech industry. This role is on-site in Medellín, Colombia. (We offer a relocation stipend for candidates based elsewhere in LATAM) Position Overview: As an Oracle Product Owner the candidate will drive standards and governance across all the Oracle HCM systems globally, leading the maintenance and development for all the products/systems/areas. This role requires to set strategy/architecture direction, IT roadmaps, technical standards, and be a visible business partner, focusing on delivery customer-centric solutions. The candidate needs to be in the detail, and often act as a business leader, owning data governance, process flows, customer experience, etc. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to drive innovation and efficiency across the organization's HR Applications. This role requires a deep understanding of HCM processes, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Key Responsibilities: · Lead the development and implementation of Oracle HCM solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder requirements. · Collaborate with business partners to gather and prioritize requirements, translating them into detailed product specifications. · Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of HCM features and enhancements. · Conduct regular reviews and updates of the product roadmap, ensuring it reflects the evolving needs of the business. · Provide hands-on guidance on business requirements development, system design, and delivery. · Drive innovation and continuous improvement in HCM processes and solutions. · Act as a subject matter expert for Oracle HCM, providing support and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders. · Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. Skills/Knowledge/Experience: A minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience including experience working in industry · 10+ years of experience as a IT leader with techno-functional hands-on experience with back-office IT SaaS platforms like Oracle ERP · 7+ years of product ownership or equivalent management experience · Prior experience in managing the end-to-end business process and workflow related to various aspects of all areas Workforce Management including payroll, time and labor management, human resources, benefits administration. · Strong listening, negotiation and conflict resolution skills · Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to bridge functional and technical resources by communicating effectively with individuals of varying systems expertise and business needs. · Strong financial systems expertise. Familiarity Oracle Fusion is a requirement · Self-motivated and self-directed, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people. · Proactive and independent person who identifies issues and drives them to resolution · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Experience within the MSP (Managed Service Provider) industry an asset · Proven ability to improve governance, standards, security posture · Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption. · Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of high complexity. · Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to provide updates on product progress, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with business goals. · A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion. · A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements. · Knowledge of Salesforce a plus Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in CS or relevant technical field preferred, otherwise relevant field experience required.
