Business Development Manager The role involves developing and executing strategies to expand licensing partnerships, increase brand footprint, and drive top-line revenue in the Colombia region. You will be working on: - Learning and understanding brand strategies. - Researching the market to identify prospective new licensing partners that map to your brand portfolio and meet partner qualifications. - Identifying target contacts and decision makers inside target companies and establishing contact via cold calling, email outreach, and other means, as necessary. Key Responsibilities: - Driving prospects into leads through high-volume outbound sales activity. - Utilizing detailed discovery to learn about the prospect's interests and capabilities. - Partnering with leadership and marketing teams to develop pitch decks that clearly align the brand value proposition with the prospect's interests and capabilities. - Working in partnership with Brand Management and Business Development Leadership teams to develop business plans and formulate product licensing proposals. - Negotiating deal terms, taking full ownership of the deal process. - Tracking sales activity in CRM consistently and accurately. - Preparing accurate sales forecasts per Authentic's sales reporting process. - Preparing reports and presentations of sales performance as needed. Requirements: - 3-5 years experience in business development and sales in licensing for Lifestyle, Beauty, Fashion markets in the LATAM region. - Full-cycle sales from lead generation through closing the deal in the LATAM region. - Accomplished communicator; great on the phone, via email, and in-person. - Possess an eager demeanor with a fearless and professional drive to win; substantial cold calling and other forms of outreach are required. - Curious, research-oriented mindset. - Confident and successful negotiator, creatively developing new business ideas. - Exceptional organization, attention management, and time management skills. - Bachelor's degree; legal background is helpful. - Must be willing and able to travel occasionally as the role requires.
