Introduction: Blue River Dairy is a world-class manufacturer of nutritional infant formulas using milks from three different species: sheep, goat, and cow. We are especially recognized as global leaders in sourcing and producing sheep milk and goat milk formulations. Description: Currently, we do not have any vacancies for a Plant Operator position, but you are welcome to apply as an expression of interest. This will allow us to keep your CV on file for future opportunities. The role: Our business involves dry blending powders and nutrients into infant formula, then packaging it into cans. Although it sounds straightforward, it is a complex process that requires you to: Work closely with other team members, demonstrating the ability to "fit in" and collaborate effectively. Our team is diverse, with representation from 15 different nationalities, and we value a harmonious workplace. Communicate clearly and confidently, while also being a good listener, especially when receiving instructions from supervisors. Follow our process-driven procedures meticulously. You must have excellent English reading and comprehension skills to understand SOPs and Quality Procedures, and complete small quizzes to confirm understanding. Adherence to these procedures is mandatory without exception. Maintain high personal hygiene standards and wear PPE such as a lab coat, safety boots, hairnet, gloves, and hearing protection. Participate in cleaning and sanitizing the plant, which involves disassembling and reassembling equipment under strict hygiene standards. This task requires discipline, care, and attention to detail to ensure the safety and quality of the product. Additionally, all employees are expected to: Be reliable and punctual for shifts; Work diligently and conscientiously; Take pride in delivering your best effort in all tasks. Current working hours are Monday to Friday, from 4:00 am to 11:00 pm, with a rotating two-shift schedule. The shifts are: - Morning shift: starting between 4:00 am and 5:00 am, ending between 1:15 pm and 2:15 pm. - Afternoon shift: starting between 12:45 pm and 1:45 pm, ending between 10:00 pm and 11:00 pm. Each shift lasts approximately 9.25 hours. Additional information: - You will undergo a pre-employment medical and drug testing, with random testing during employment. - Some roles may require lifting 25kg bags of dry powder, so physical fitness is necessary. - The plant environment is temperature and humidity controlled, light, bright, and clean. - We expect new team members to commit to a minimum of two years with us. #J-18808-Ljbffr
