Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Demand Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of personal injury claims and insurance disputes, with the ability to draft compelling and fact-based demand letters. This role is essential to supporting pre-litigation efforts and driving positive outcomes for our clients. Compensation: $4 to $6 per hour. Please note that candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written) will be considered for the higher end of the pay range. Requirements Key Responsibilities Prepare comprehensive and persuasive demand letters for personal injury, insurance, and related civil claims. Conduct legal and factual research to support liability and damages arguments. Analyze case files, including medical records, billing statements, police reports, witness statements, and other evidence. Collaborate with case managers, attorneys, and clients to gather essential case details. Articulate clear narratives that outline the scope of injuries, losses, and the basis for damages. Ensure demand packages are thorough, compliant with legal standards, and ready for negotiation. Track and follow up on submitted demands and assist in ongoing negotiations with insurance adjusters. Maintain accurate documentation and notes in the firm's case management system. Uphold confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism in all interactions. Assist attorneys and legal staff with related case preparation as needed.
