About the role The Video Lead oversees a team of video editors in producing high-quality, brand-aligned video content across digital platforms, with a strong focus on paid media. This role combines hands-on editing with team leadership—reviewing footage, providing creative direction, and ensuring polished, performance-driven output. What you"ll do 1. Lead the post-production process for paid media campaigns across digital platforms, ensuring all video content aligns with performance marketing goals. 2. Lead and support a team of Video Editors, fostering a culture of professionalism and accountability. 3. Edit and assemble high-impact video ads from raw footage, optimized for different formats (e.g., YouTube, Meta, TikTok) and iterate creative based on insights to improve ad effectiveness. 4. Direct the integration of audio elements, including licensed music, sound design, and voiceovers, to maximize engagement and brand alignment. 5. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and media buying teams to ensure videos support campaign objectives and audience targeting. 6. Oversee the visual consistency and polish of all paid media assets through advanced color grading, lighting correction, and stylistic enhancements. 7. Manage project assets, timelines, and editors maintaining an efficient and scalable post-production workflow. 8. Provide ongoing training and mentorship to team members. Qualifications 1. High school diploma or equivalent 2. Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software 3. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish with excellent written and verbal communication skills 4. 3+ years of proven work experience video editing 5. Advanced proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, Lightworks), with a deep understanding of post-production workflows and visual storytelling techniques 6. Proven video editing expertise supported by a strong portfolio, with a focus on producing high-impact content for paid digital campaigns Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Eastern Time The pay range for this role is: 7 - 7.50 USD per hour(Remote (Bogotá, Bogota, CO)) PI274703573
