Do you have excellent data analysis skills for demand planning and strong communication to build relationships? This role is for you! Your role at Baxter The Demand Planner will develop a collaborative demand signal across North America to guide manufacturing, distribution, and financial planning. You will manage the end-to-end sales and operations planning process through collaboration with cross-functional teams. What you'll be doing Develop a unified, unconstrained demand forecast with the MPT business segment. Lead monthly sales and operations forecast alignment to identify and address gaps, providing rationale for discrepancies. Create action plans to enhance forecast accuracy. Collaborate with commercial teams to gather business intelligence beyond historical demand. Build statistical forecast models, analyze past demand, and incorporate qualitative factors like market changes, seasonality, and trends to produce optimal forecasts balancing customer service and inventory investment. Coordinate with supply planning to understand forecast variances and include relevant business intelligence. Align operational forecasts with financial forecasts in partnership with the finance team. Lead monthly cross-functional planning meetings. Facilitate monthly consensus meetings with stakeholders, set targets, prepare agendas, and compile inputs for review with senior leadership. Support issue resolution related to supply constraints and capacity, ensuring fact-based decisions. Participate in global Demand and Supply Integrated Business Reviews (IBRs). What you'll bring Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Management, Operations, or Supply Chain. APICS certification or progress towards (e.g., CPIM); specialization in Business or Engineering is a plus. Minimum of 3 years in demand planning and S&OP experience. Experience designing and implementing S&OP processes in healthcare. Practical knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
