The Technical Architect provides technology direction, ensures project implementation compliance, and utilizes technology research to innovate, integrate, and manage technology solutions. As a Technology Architect, you will significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; you will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high-quality solutions, participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. Responsibilities Architect and implement a multi-environment Looker setup including development, staging/uat and production following Google's best practices. Integrate and establish robust CI/CD pipelines for LookML deployment using a source control repository platform such as Github or GitLab. Define modeling and development standards in LookML for scalability, maintainability, and performance. Collaborate with a GCP Infrastructure team to ensure sufficient and secure connections between Looker and GCP data sources. Define and implement role-based access control and network security configurations to ensure secure access to Looker and connected data sources. Develop documentation and training materials for internal users. Act as a Looker Subject Matter Expert guiding teams on visualization best practices, and analytics enablement. Qualifications Google Cloud Certified Architect or Professional Data Engineer required. Strong knowledge of network security, identity and access management (IAM) in GCP environments. Experience designing and deploying Looker implementations at scale, preferably on Google Cloud Platform. Understanding of LookML development and Looker platform administration. Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Looker using Git-based workflows and automated deployment strategies. Experience integrating Looker with GCP Data Services such as BigQuery.
