Field Service Engineering Manager - Gas Services About the Role Location Colombia Cundinamarca Bogota Remote vs. Office Hybrid (Remote/Office) Company Siemens Energy Organization Gas Services Business Unit Service Latin America Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional Siemens Energy is looking for a Field Service Engineering Manager responsible for technical planning of maintenance activities for medium, small, and large gas Turbines in Colombia & Venezuela. A Snapshot of Your Day The role involves the technical planning of maintenance activities for medium, small, and large gas Turbines in Colombia & Venezuela. The main responsibilities include defining the technical scope, schedule, activity breakdown, and resources for outages. Engaging with Technical Sales, Project Managers, Field Services, and Customers is essential to accurately capture and define technical requirements. The position supports turbine service projects, whether in the Open Market or under Long-Term Agreements. The role requires regular progress reporting to the District Service Manager. How You’ll Make an Impact Plan and oversee maintenance activities for Medium, Small, and Large Gas Turbines in the Siemens Energy fleet across Colombia & Venezuela. Define the technical scope, schedule, activity breakdown, and resources needed for outages. Collaborate with Technical Sales, Project Managers, Field Services, and Customers to accurately capture and define technical requirements; as well as leading the Tool depot strategy to support each project. Conduct technical meetings with customers either online or at their sites across the different sites & Provide regular progress reports to the District Service Manager. Comply with and enforce protocols, policies, guidelines, and competencies of the current integral management system (EHS, Quality), mandatory for all positions in Mexico and subject to audit. What You Bring University Degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineer or similar (Bachelor’s degree). Professional experience (7+ years) as mechanical field service engineer or Technical Project Manager in the Power or Oil & Gas sectors; Solid technical knowledge on turbines and power plants. Good verbal communication skills with the ability to fluently speak, write, and read in English, at professional working proficiency level. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of time. Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules and priorities for multiple projects or assignments.
