Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Pilot-in-Command to lead ISR flights within the USSOUTHCOM AOR. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe execution of missions, adhering to GFR-approved procedures, and maintaining effective communication with Mission Sensor Operators. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in instrument flight, day/night operations, and performance planning. Additionally, they will be expected to coordinate outstation refuel operations, manage international flights, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities - Lead ISR flights as Pilot-in-Command in instrument conditions, providing maximum station time and sensor efficiency to Mission Sensor Operators. - Perform comprehensive flight planning, performance planning, weight and balance calculations, and fuel management. - Maintain up-to-date software and systems, ensuring seamless mission execution. - Collaborate with teams to coordinate outstation refuel operations, international flights, and related permissions. Requirements and Qualifications - Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Commercial Multi-Engine Land (MEL) license. - A minimum of 5 years' experience in ISR operations. - Over 2,000 hours of multi-engine fixed-wing time, including B200 type rating. - Commercial license: multi-engine, fixed-wing, land. Preferred Skills and Education - FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) MEL certification. - At least 1,000 hours in aircraft category. - Top Secret security clearance. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience. Additional Information The position requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to adapt to austere living conditions. Travel is mandatory on a rotational basis.
