About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Integration Architect / Engineer with deep expertise in enterprise integrations, API design, and system interoperability—especially in consulting engagements with US-based enterprise clients. You will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and optimizing scalable integration solutions that bridge modern and legacy systems across complex enterprise environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, client-facing contexts and enjoys solving multi-system integration and transformation challenges with a consultative, architecture-driven approach. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions and APIs across CRM, ERP, cloud, and legacy systems. - Define and implement integration patterns (point-to-point, pub/sub, messaging, middleware) that are scalable and maintainable. - Partner with client stakeholders, product owners, business analysts, and engineers to understand integration requirements and technical constraints. - Lead or participate in the implementation of integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or custom middleware frameworks. - Conduct data mapping, transformation logic definition, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless data and process integration. - Create architectural artifacts including interface specifications, sequence diagrams, API contracts, and integration documentation. - Support requirements gathering sessions and present architecture approaches and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Serve as a technical advisor on integration best practices, governance, and platform scalability. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to integration standards and architectural best practices. Required Qualifications - 7+ years of experience in integration engineering or architecture roles within enterprise IT or consulting environments - Strong background with integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Apigee, or similar tools). - Proficiency in designing and implementing APIs (REST, SOAP), and working with JSON, XML, and related protocols. - Solid understanding of data mapping, transformation logic, and integration error handling. - Hands-on experience with middleware or event-driven architectures (e.g., message queues, ESB, or pub/sub models). - Familiarity with relational databases and SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle). - Demonstrated ability to work effectively in consulting or professional services settings, with direct exposure to US-based enterprise clients. Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Nice to Have - Experience with cloud-native integrations (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps workflows, or API gateways. - Background in enterprise architecture or TOGAF-aligned practices. - Experience working in Agile environments using Jira, Confluence, or equivalent tools. - Industry exposure to regulated sectors such as healthcare, finance, or telecom.
