Ecoverde Cleaning is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Specialist to support and accelerate our growth. This role is critical to managing our proposal and RFP process, identifying new business opportunities, and strengthening strategic partnerships. You'll leverage tools such as Bidnet, Apollo.io and other CRM platforms to streamline business development efforts, generate leads, and craft winning proposals that align with our brand and mission. Key Responsibilities1. Proposal Creation & Coordination - Develop comprehensive, persuasive proposals including supporting documentation, visuals, and company credentials. - Write, revise, and edit content such as executive summaries, value propositions, and conclusions tailored to client requirements. 2. Opportunity Analysis & Proposal Planning - Analyze incoming Requests for Proposals (RFPs), RFIs, and business opportunities to identify client goals, key deliverables, and submission requirements. - Coordinate internal strategy meetings to align on priorities and structure proposal responses. 3. Proposal Project Management - Set timelines and manage the proposal development process, from kickoff through submission. - Track progress, lead content collection and review cycles, and secure all necessary approvals to ensure timely, high-quality submissions. 4. Knowledge & Resource Management - Maintain and enhance the internal RFP answer library, templates, and supporting documents. - Collaborate with marketing and leadership to continuously improve BD tools, templates, and workflows. 5. Lead Generation & Email Marketing - Use Apollo.io, Active Campaign, and other tools to identify, qualify, and engage potential leads. - Build and manage segmented email lists for targeted outreach and lead nurturing. 6. Administrative & Sales Support - Provide administrative support to the Business Development team including scheduling, document preparation, and reporting. - Assist with marketing campaigns, event planning, and client-facing materials. - Support cross-functional efforts to align sales, marketing, and operational strategies. Required Skills & Qualifications - Proven experience in proposal writing, editing, and project management. - Proficiency with Apollo.io, Active Campaign, Salesforce, and other lead generation or CRM platforms. - Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail. - Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners. Preferred Experience - Experience in responding to public and private-sector proposals.
