As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for performing testing activities in an agile scrum team. You will be responsible for test design, execution, and defect management. You will adhere to the defined testing strategy, templates, and processes in your scrum team(s). You will identify risks, dependencies, and issues affecting QA activities and remediate those with support from the Sr QA Lead and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities - Work closely with development teams to understand project requirements and ensure alignment on QA objectives. - Test planning, scripting/test case writing, and requirement traceability. - Test execution – smoke, regression, end-to-end testing, and provide UAT support. - Identify test automation scope and build/execute test automation scripts. - Defect management, triage, and associated retesting/regression testing. - Test data identification and preparation, test environment management in coordination with the release teams. - Collaborate with various project stakeholders such as Product Owners, Technical Managers, architects, and Development teams across various stages of the project for implementing and adhering to defined QA practices. - Periodic review of the testing activities with the Technical Test Manager/Sr Lead/Client QA Leads. - Provide project quality reports and insights to the leadership. - Identify risks, dependencies, and issues and collaborate/escalate for resolution. - Support the QA leadership on the process implementation, transformation, and innovation fronts. Experience And Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of QA experience with 3+ years of experience in working in agile scrum teams. - Experience in working in agile environments and a strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. - Highly desirable: Experience in E2E QA landscape – core testing, test data management, test environment, and tool management. - Highly desirable: Experience in automated testing tools and frameworks. - Highly desirable: Hands-on experience/understanding of Salesforce landscape. - Nice to have: Exposure to/experience in performance testing. - Quick learner and a mindset to learn – e.g., learning new tools in the project and becoming a subject matter expert. - Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
