Job Description: The Cloud AppOps team is responsible for: - Performing operational duties such as application server health checks and service recycling. - Identifying and resolving operational issues like batch failures, network issues, and client data feed errors. - Monitoring server performance, memory utilization, CPU, file systems, databases, and batch jobs. - Maintaining operational documentation, including incident tracking and run books. - Producing metric reports, including daily production status. - Reviewing client support tickets and requests within service SLAs. - Resolving level 2 and level 3 issues related to application support, databases, and data center operations, and documenting issues in the customer support portal. - Providing on-call support during off-hours and working during non-prime shift hours. Qualifications: - At least 2 years of application and production support experience in cloud-based hosting, management, and performance tuning in high-availability SLA environments. - Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure is preferred. - Knowledge of ETL processes is a plus. - Experience with Unix, Linux, Windows, Tomcat, SSH, and basic scripting skills. - Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL. - Understanding of complex data and process flows. - Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) with internal stakeholders and clients. - Experience in application debugging, performance tuning, and scalability. - Familiarity with application security best practices. - Knowledge of fault detection and resolution processes. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. - Capacity to multi-task and provide rapid support in production environments. - Availability to provide on-call support during non-prime hours.
