We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineering Manager with 8+ years of experience to lead and grow our data engineering capabilities. Responsibilities - Build and manage robust ETL/ELT workflows using Python and SQL, handling both structured and semi-structured data. - Implement distributed data processing solutions using Apache Spark/PySpark for large-scale data transformation. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and product managers to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and well-structured. - Enforce best practices for data quality, governance, security, and compliance across the entire data ecosystem. - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvements in data infrastructure. - Conduct code reviews, define coding standards, and promote engineering excellence across the team. - Mentor and guide junior data engineers, fostering a culture of technical growth and innovation. - Support AI demo initiatives by contributing to UI/front-end/full-stack development, cloud deployment, and rapid prototyping. - Leverage tools like Snowflake, agent frameworks, GenAI, chatbots, and CrewIA to build cutting-edge solutions. - Collaborate closely with data scientists, bridging implementation and experimentation, with flexibility to scale to a 2:1 engineering ratio as needed Qualifications - 6+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with at least 1-2 years in a technical leadership or managerial role - Proficiency with SQL, Python, and Snowflake - Experience building and maintaining cloud-based data solutions (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP also considered) - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in client-facing contexts - Proven ability to lead and inspire a technical team in a fast-paced, high-demand environment Benefits - Certifications in AWS (we are AWS Partners), Databricks, and Snowflake. - Access to AI learning paths to stay up to date with the latest technologies. - Study plans, courses, and additional certifications tailored to your role. - Access to Udemy Business, offering thousands of courses to boost your technical and soft skills. - English lessons to support your professional communication.
