Job Description We are seeking an ambitiousand strategic Finance Lead to oversee and optimize financialoperations in Colombia. This role will be responsible for leadingthe financial and accounting teams, ensuring compliance with USGAAP and local fiscal regulations, managing financial planning andanalysis, and supporting executive decision-making. The idealcandidate will have strong leadership skills, experience inmultinational financial management, and the ability to drivefinancial efficiency while maintaining high compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership & Strategy: - Leadthe financial team, ensuring accurate execution of accounting,financial projections, and reporting. - Oversee financial planning,budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. - Develop andimplement financial strategies that support business objectives andgrowth. - Prepare and submit financial reports under tightdeadlines. - Provide insights to senior management for strategicdecision-making. Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: - Ensurefinancial operations comply with US GAAP and local fiscalregulations. - Manage relationships with external auditors,ensuring proper financial controls and reporting accuracy. -Monitor tax compliance, including sales tax implications, andresearch the financial impact of transactions. - Review payrollprocesses to ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations,and internal policies. Risk Management & Internal Control: -Implement and enhance internal financial controls to optimizeefficiency and mitigate risk. - Monitor cash flow, financialtransactions, and FX exposure to support liquidity and workingcapital management. - Ensure proper reconciliation andmonth-end/year-end close procedures are completed accurately andefficiently. Business Support & Financial Optimization: - Workcross-functionally with other departments to support financialdecision-making and business strategy. - Assist in evaluating newopportunities, financial investments, and cost-saving initiatives. - Provide value-added financial analysis and insights to keystakeholders, supporting business growth. Qualifications -Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a relatedfield. A Master’s degree or professional certification (CPA, CFA,ACCA) is a plus. - Minimum 5+ years of experience in financialmanagement, including leadership roles. - C1 (advanced) Englishproficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively in bothwritten and spoken forms. - Strong knowledge of US GAAP and fiscalregulations. - Experience in financial planning, budgeting,variance analysis, and strategic financial reporting. - Advancedproficiency in financial tools and ERP software (preferablyNetsuite) for financial management and reporting.
