About the Role \ We are seeking an experienced Strategic Partnership and Localization Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to strengthen partnerships with national NGOs and CSOs in Colombia. \ You will work closely with our teams to establish systems and approaches for identifying, pursuing, and maintaining effective partnerships that contribute to our strategic objectives. This includes mapping and identifying new partnership opportunities, assessing partner organization capacities, facilitating relevant capacity-strengthening support, and providing ongoing support to partner organizations throughout the project lifecycle. \ Key Responsibilities: \ \ - Conduct and update partner mapping to identify potential partners and assess their capacities \ - Support and lead the partnership selection and due diligence process, including leading preliminary meetings with partners and supporting partners to submit necessary documentation \ - Establish and maintain a partnership database to map out partner capacity, influence, and strategic alignment with our programming \ - C coordinate across departments to conduct partner organizational capacity assessments and analyze assessments to identify specific capacity building and organizational development needs \ - P rovide training and targeted capacity strengthening support to partner organizations \ - Maintain a comprehensive partner report tracker and communicate with partners around reporting deadlines \ - Ensure partners have correct templates and understand quality standards for reporting \ - R review and provide feedback on partner reports as part of capacity-strengthening plans \ - M o nitor partner spending and ensure compliance with eligibility rules \ - A dvocate for changes at country and donor level to ensure partnership tools and financial standards meet donor requirements \ - L ead individual grant opening meetings with partners and review key resources including reporting templates, schedule of deadlines, communications processes, and highlight key parts of sub-grant agreement \ - S upport local partners' empowerment process in humanitarian coordination spaces \ \ About You \ We are looking for someone with at least five years of professional experience in a relevant field, preferably in an NGO or humanitarian actor. You should have three years' experience preferred with project or program management and proven organizational skills.
