About the Role As a Senior C++ Developer , you will work with cutting-edge technology to enhance and maintain backend servers for real-time trading applications. You will collaborate with business counterparts and technical teams to deliver solutions on a Windows platform, contributing to mission-critical systems in the financial sector. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend servers in C++ Collaborate with business teams to deliver technical solutions Participate in all stages of the project lifecycle, from planning to deployment Troubleshoot and resolve issues with QA and support teams Provide production support for critical client-facing issues Improve system performance, efficiency, and reliability Maintain strong English communication skills (B2 level) Qualifications & Skills 5+ years of experience in C++ programming Knowledge of structural and object-oriented programming, data structures, patterns, templates, and multithreading Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., GIT) Basic knowledge of databases and SQL Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and in teams Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration Ability to prioritize critical issues Preferred Qualifications Experience in finance, especially Fixed Income Knowledge of Perl and shell scripting Understanding of communication protocols At Formula.Monks, we promote diversity and inclusion, designing hiring processes that foster equity and mitigate bias.
