As a Pharmacovigilance Coordinator, you will play a strategic role in patient safety, ensuring compliance with local regulations and corporate policies on pharmacovigilance for marketed products and clinical studies. Purpose of the Role: We are seeking a skilled professional to act as the local pharmacovigilance coordinator, overseeing the notification, monitoring, and training processes related to patient safety in line with Colombian regulations and GSK standards. Main Responsibilities: - Pharmacovigilance: Supervise local safety programs for pharmaceutical products, vaccines, and clinical studies, adhering to local regulations and internal GSK policies. - Regulatory Relations: Report adverse events and clinical studies to INVIMA and serve as a liaison during regulatory inspections. - Training and Culture of Safety: Train internal and external staff on adverse event reporting, promoting adherence to safety policies. - Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with quality, customer service, and medical information departments to manage complaints, inquiries, and risks related to patient safety. - Document Management and Auditing: Ensure proper record-keeping, lead periodic reviews, and contribute to audits and quality improvement projects. Key Qualifications: • Healthcare professional • Specific training in pharmacovigilance and local regulations. • Experience in patient safety management systems or pharmacovigilance. • Proficiency in English language. • Strong knowledge of the Colombian healthcare system. • Effective communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
