Responsibilities Collaborate with engineers to develop and implement technical specifications Mentor junior engineering staff to provide technical and professional growth opportunities Set clear goals, expectations, and priorities for the team Facilitate workshops and training sessions as needed Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices Stay current on technologies and trends to be capable of making informed suggestions and decisions to the technology roadmap Due to government requirement, you must be able to apply for and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. Therefore, only U.S. citizens will be considered for this role. Qualifications Terraform, Ansible experience Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.) MAAS (metal-as-a-service), Juju Charms, OpenStack Gitlab CI/CD Pipelines, Linux (Ubuntu or Debian based operating systems) Docker and Docker Compose Cloud services – such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Services (GCS), or Microsoft Azure Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of technical staff and foster an innovative, collaborative and high-performance culture Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills Who We Are We began as a start-up and quickly bloomed into a well-established data-driven information security company in the MD/DC/VA region.
