About the Job Senior Business Analyst Position at Vodafone We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Vodafone. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work on an exciting project with a US-based digital experience agency, contributing to the development and optimization of high-performance CMS platforms and Java applications. Your Responsibilities - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. - Translate business needs into detailed user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria in Jira. - Maintain and organize clear project documentation in Confluence. - Work closely with developers to ensure requirements are understood and implemented accurately. - Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and reviews. - Assist QA teams by reviewing test cases and analyzing defects to validate requirements. - Monitor project progress and align deliverables with business objectives. - Manage and assess the impact of change requests. - Identify risks, communicate potential issues, and propose mitigation strategies. - Write and define test cases for requirements validation. - Perform manual testing to confirm functionality meets business goals. - Collaborate with QA teams to resolve defects and suggest improvements. Requirements - Proven experience gathering and documenting business requirements, especially for digital platforms and CMS projects. - Strong knowledge of the Optimizely CMS platform or similar tools. - Familiarity with Drupal site optimization, including content structures and API integrations. - Proficiency in Java-based application ecosystems for middleware and back-end logic optimizations. - Experience working with APIs and web services (REST/SOAP) and integrating third-party tools. - Expertise with Jira for issue tracking and Confluence for documentation. - Ability to create detailed user stories, functional specifications, and workflows. - Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration (developers, QA, project managers, and stakeholders). - Nice to have: Experience with Postman, Selenium, or TestRail for testing and validation tasks.
